She slipped away from my fingers like water out of a fist. I chased her through memories and dreams, collecting her scattered pieces as best as I could.
Her laughter haunted the corridors of my thoughts even as the sound of her voice faded into the forgotten. But even as I tried to pull her back together, she fell away even further. 2 months ago, i lay on my bed with my dangerously ill cat, {who i've had since i was four} listening to this song and bawling my eyes out.
tonight i'm listening to this song again, this time on the couch with my perfectly recovered cat, and this time with {mostly} dry eyes.
sometimes, it really is okay.

And what have you done till now to change the world in order to fit into it? I really mean that with no offense. You can blame the world for what it is, but it won't change until you do something. Don't expect anyone to do the job for you.
The world needs to hear this song, whether they understand it or not. Sometimes it really actually is ok. It may not seem like it. But it is. This reminds me of my father, he died almost 12. years ago when I was 1. It reminds me of the boy I like. Because I do know one day that I'm gonna be with him. And one day I'm gonna be with my dad. Tom, you are a beautiful human being and this is a beautiful song. Thank you.
